I'm collecting modern coins so I'm not quite sure how to assess quality and value of this solidus. Can anyone help me on this?

I would regard it to Fine / Very Fine with apparently some scratches on both sides. Value: I am no expert on late roman gold coins so I would rather suggest you compare prices on vcoins and/or acsearch.info for example. |

Thank you for the answer! I already found some prices on auctions but the problem is that those are usually extra fine examples and their value is >= 600 euros, it is hard to find prices for lower quality samples on auctions. If this is Fine/Very Fine than it's value should probably be in 350-400 euro range. |
