My name is Juan. Hello Payler, do you remember me? I bought your "strange" MTT 1780 without SF (may be form Africa mint) but not sure about!
Well, I recently bought new MTT's which I'd like to show to you and to other collectors from Austria. Can anyone explain to me how can I do (in english please) ?
I bought a vey interesting 1780 MTT struck at the London Mint but it is like a proof piece and it has a large diameter like coins struck at the Vienna Mint. London MTT has a diameter of 39,5 max 40 mm. My piece has a diameter of 41,5-41,6 mm.
I also found the H67c, the MTT struck in copper by the Birmingham Mint. It weighs only 24 grams and has only 7 pearls in the diadem on the Maria Theresia Bust.
Also found a very interesting piece struck at the Prague Mint, the P.S.I.K. paid for a few Euros in a national Coin Fair from an italian dealer. It is very well preserved!
Well, I hope someone can help me to put the pictures on line!!!
