it should be a CNA CA9: but what little I can decipher the legend as well as an "s" at 8 o'clock a probable "e" at 10 o'clock, 12 o'clock clearly stands out a flower with six petals (! ?) that I swear I had never seen, you have more information? thanks

Imitation of money frisacensi by ticks Tyrolean? Theory, which also does not exclude the Luschin: the counts of Gorizia for their coinage resumed the pattern of Aquileia, however, not disdaining to be inspired by the coinage of Friesach see for example L. 314

Your photo of the coin is missing. Would show it to us? Or is it a problem of my PC?

Best Wishes

It is a very interessting coin and it ist not listed in Luschin, Baumgartner oder CNA. I've never seen a rose like this in a CNA Ca9 legend before.

Maybe it could be a very early coin of counts of Goerz. Then it would have been minted in Lienz.

Baum, however, he says, citing the medieval text (1226), Lienz was a fief of Aquileia notary and Corrado (1209) tells us that since 1189 the Counts of Gorizia had the right to mint coins (right of Aquileia). it could be a issue made without permission?
