The second Parks quarter of 2015, the Kisatchie National Forest (in Louisiana) 25-cent piece was first released to circulation about the middle of April and was finally captured for my collection about the middle of June. (From a dollar’s worth of quarters changed for the pool table.) A surprisingly attractive coin, I think, especially considering the bird is a wild turkey.

Released in early June, this new Parks quarter has come my way. A 2015d celebrating North Carolina’s portion of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Nice treatment of the tunnel, I think, especially for a run-of-the-mill circulation coin.

And the Parkway itself…one long beautiful drive.
